Buff and Shine listened to the feedback from end-users of Uro-Fiber pads and engineered a new microfiber pad with a standard pile height and shorter profile that provides great finishing results, especially on softer paints.It is still possible to cut and finish with the Uro-Fiber Finisher pads, but most technicians will prefer to have the one-two punch we like to call The Uro-Fiber Twins. Finding a simple to use self centering system has been the subject of many ideas and innovations in the reconditioning industry. The results have been scattered, until now. Our patent pending “Ring Pad” system does all this and more. Along with the centering benefit we have shaped the front of the pad with a hex design and engineered a flexible backing plate that will accept air, rotary and random orbit buffers; the hex face will help dissipate polish or compounds evenly, minimizing grabbing and reducing heat while the backing plate helps reduce pad stiffness. It’s a new buffing world out there, even for the classic simple rotary (high-speed) machine. Some technicians have transitioned to the use of thinner buffing pads, like our Micro Fiber and Low-Pro Pads. Buff and Shine’s new Thick Flexible Backing Plate is an ideal match for these and other pads. Available in three sizes for all your buffing needs. Constructed with an 1″ thick polyurethane layer, the Thick Flexible Backing Plate can offer dramatically increased flexibility that can make up for the loss of flexibility that is sometimes experienced with thin buffing pads. This allows the technician who loves the performance of thin pads to also enjoy the capability of working contours in the vehicle surface that are otherwise more difficult to reach with traditional backing plates.
You will find that the Thick Flexible Backing Plate allows superior control and distribution of pressure over body style lines. It provides virtually 100% surface contact across contours while reducing the potential for damage to protruding body style edges. The highly-beveled pad edge allows for “working into” the deepest body line recesses.
The 7″ diameter size is great for use with a traditional rotary buffer on larger open surface areas or vehicle painted panels like hoods and trunk lids. The 5″ diameter size is great for smaller panels and those with heavy contouring. The 3″ size is perfect for buffing tight areas with your favorite smaller rotary polisher (but it also works even with traditional-sized rotary buffers!). Use the 3″ size for working on headlight lens restoration.
As with all Buff and Shine backing plates, the Thick Flexible Backing Plate is constructed with the highest quality materials and designed to provide countless hours of use, even with the abuse that a rotary polisher can dish out!

Buff and Shine Mfg. is now manufacturing a full line of 5.5″ foam pads that fit the all DA polishers with a 5″ backing plate. The quality and craftsmanship of these new pads is far superior to anything on the market. Here is why.
We have taken the extra step to evenly trim the Velcro loop back from the outer edge of the pad to prevent accidental contact with the paint that could cause $100s or possibly $1000s in damages.
Our pads our consistently crisp and cleanly cut. The side walls of the pad are perfectly straight down on every pad. Check your current stock and you will find inconsistent concaved sidewalls. This is due to incorrect cutting procedures. You will find every pad will look different.
A common problem with Velcro pads is the Velcro peeling off. We are using an adhesive that will never come off ever. It is heat resistant, chemical resistant and 100% fully washable over and over again. Remember when you buy Buff and Shine products we stand behind our products with a 100% guarantee.

Car Wash Mop Bonnet
You asked for it and we made it the best CAR WASH MOP in the market. Being in the car wash capital of the world we received numerous requests for this item and we made it with Buff and SHINE quality improvements. The pole has a reinforced metal support under the plastic thread to prevent it from breaking as most plastic threaded poles will. The car wash mop head unit is full 9 ½ in diameter to cover more area per pass. We added a soft rubber molding on the outer edge of the mop head to prevent the mop head from cutting though the bonnet and making scuff marks if the user applies to much pressure or accidentally hits the vehicle with the car wash mop head. The car wash mop bonnet is made from our best quality heavy duty wash mitt material along with super strong elastic for extra life. This car wash mop is a great tool for small and large vehicles and also for those hand wash car washes. It saves you time, keeps your hands dry and requires less bending and stooping when compared to traditional hand held wash mitts.
